Struggling artist Doug is visited by the beautiful and enigmatic H, who claims he holds the power to visiting “inconceivable places.” Still half-asleep, Doug is shocked when H vanishes suddenly and her doppelganger, Hannah, strides past. Dishevelled, he approaches (and frightens) Hannah until Doug blurts out “inconceivable places”: the title of her late-father’s incomplete life's work. She drags him to the lab that she shares with her uncle and mentor, Dr. Randall Slate, spurring a surprise leap in their research. However, Hannah doesn’t realize Slate’s mind is faltering, or that he impulsively bargained with the shadowy Severon for a mental panacea to heal his mind. As evil gathers in the shadows, we learn H has a critical mission, and knows more about Hannah and Doug’s importance to the Interdimensions than she admits. Our heroes must discover their greatest weapon is love—the last thing on our unlikely duo’s minds as they race to stop Severon from quantum domination.
