This film was created in collaboration with the rock artist SATE and the release of her album The Fool. She is a cosmic being and explores a connection to the Tarot, aptly named after the hero of the Tarot deck, The Fool.
Reflection can be a powerful thing. On its own, it’s a journey itself, but there is an entire road to walk beyond that. This short film dives into the mythology of the Fool’s Journey these experiences that shade you, slowly making you whole the ultimate metaphor for life itself. How far we’ve come and how far we still want to go. The journey is never over…
The film begins by capturing SATE running through the woods. Brought to an abrupt stop by a mysterious fog-shrouded portal, SATE is transported into three different environments and songs that explore her emotions on the ‘cosmic-rock’ adventure of the Fool, which emphasizes spiritual connections to the tarot, affirming self-belief, perseverance, and authenticity.
